Dear Neighbor:

 

Monument Community Partnership will be celebrating its second annual Monument Community Pride Celebration on Saturday, June 10, 2006.

 

This is going to be a fabulous celebration, which will bring people to our community to view us through a lens of hope and opportunity rather than our challenges!

 

Monument Boulevard is our neighborhood, where we live, work, and raise our families.  We want to be known for the many cultures that make up this area, a proud community, which is an important part of Concord. 

 

We know that by improving our community image, we are creating a better business climate, increasing dollars spent in our neighborhood.  We all know how important relationships are in marketing our business / agency.  This is your opportunity!   Help us build a bridge to residents to increase your sales and to build relationships with other businesses to refer customers to one another.

  • Access to loans
  • Free business training
  • Working on Concord’s plan for changes to the Monument area - Redevelopment

  • MCP web page advertisement or links to you website.

 

 

There are many ways to participate in the celebration. We have high expectations for success.  Our first celebration got us off to a great start. However, success means full participation of all of the businesses / agencies on the corridor.

 

 

Here are some suggestions for participation :

  • Advertising
    • Newspaper
    • Radio / Television
    • Coupon Book
  • Booth – in front of your store or at your site
  • Banners
  • Family friendly activities at your store to draw in customers
  • Food sales / specials

 

Planning meetings have already begun.  Meetings are held on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at Zulema’s Restaurant, 1500 Monument Boulevard.

 

There will also be 2 Mandatory participant meetings:

Application deadline May 1, 2006

Late registration - May 23, 2006 = additional fees will apply.       NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE.   NO EXCEPTIONS.
