What
is Monument Futures?
Monument Futures is a community-led economic development program serving
residents and local businesses in the Monument Boulevard area and
surrounding region.
Our
Vision is for the
Monument Corridor neighborhood to become a connected
community with a vibrant economy, where everyone has the
chance to make rewarding economic and social choices.
Our
Mission is to
provide people who live or work in the Monument Community
with the means to develop the confidence, competence,
connections and capital it takes to make it in America.
Our
Goal is to build
hope, opportunity and action among people who have the least
economic opportunity but the greatest potential for economic
leadership.
How
will Monument Futures do this?
First, we
build strong working relationships among people of all
backgrounds. We know that all social and economic
opportunity is based on who you know and who you trust.
Second, we
provide access to high quality programs that help people move
from the outside to the inside of our economy and our
community. See current programs on the next page.
