Resident Network Strategic Plan

The Neighborhood Action Team facilitators (NATs) who play the lead role in MCP’s community engagement strategies have created a detailed strategic plan for their work in building the capacity of residents and creating new leaders from the community. The NAT Strategic Plan Goals and Objectives are outline below:

Goal 1: Build Resident Capacity

  • Objective 1: Expand community capacity and leadership development

  • Objective 2: Provide mechanism for civic engagement

  • Objective 3: Continue to bring residents into participation through the Neighborhood Action Teams.

Goal 2: Assure that MCP is Community / Resident Driven

  • Objective 1: Build capacity of service providers to support resident leadership

  • Objective 2: Increase communication, information and access to resources in the Monument Community.

  • Objective 3: Collaborate to design and implement projects to reach community Goals.
