Key discussion points:

Major projects

-                      The next transportation taskforce meeting will be on Thursday, April 26, 7-8:30 pm, loc:  Police Dpt.  Will focus on transportation element in Monument Development plan.  Will market new shuttle by taking residents on shuttle tour with assistance from Amigos.  County Connections and Amigos will go to schools and speak to the parents about shuttle service.  Kathy will make flyer before April 26 Transportation meeting and mail out to community.

-                      Urban Habitat plan – future embellishes coming

-                      HEAL:  March 24 walkability workshop went well.  Local Government commission went on walking tour.  Other attendees were a multicultural mix of residents, business owners of various ages.  Upcoming workshops on April 19 (5-8:00, Spanish, Cambridge), and April 21 (9:30-12:30, English, Meadowhomes).  The Built Environment project is key to MCP’s 10-year goal.  Kathy will send a letter with flyer to all MCP’s close partners asking them to attend one session.
